Sung Han Rhew, Ph.D.
Senior Research Associate
Dr. Rhew’s research focuses on the intersection of aging, health, and environmental factors, with an emphasis on how these elements impact cognitive and physical health in later life. His work often integrates perspectives from geographic information systems, sociology, and public health to develop comprehensive strategies that support aging populations. Currently, Dr. Rhew oversees multiple research projects and supports grant submissions, including managing ongoing grant projects and assisting principal investigators with successful grant applications. Previously, he trained as an environmental health scholar at Duke University School of Medicine for three years.
