Dana Ketcher, PhD, MPH

Dana Ketcher (she/they) is a white, queer woman of settler ancestry, mainly Sicilian, German, and English. They joined Memory Keepers Medical Discovery Team (MK-MDT) in September 2021. She received her PhD (Applied Medical Anthropology, 2019) and MPH (Global Communicable Disease, 2011) from the University of South Florida. She completed a two-year, NIH-funded postdoctoral training in behavioral oncology at Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, Florida in 2021. Dr. Ketcher works with the Executive Director, Dr. Jacklin, to address high-level administrative and research tasks across all MK-MDT projects and cores. She also works on the NIH/NIA funded Indigenous Cultural Understandings of Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Dementias-Research and Engagement (ICARE) R01 project and provides support for the International Indigenous Dementia Research Network (IIDRN).
