Lena Thompson, Ph.D.
Post-Doctoral Associate
Dr. Thompson received her PhD in Community and Behavioral Health from the University of Iowa College of Public Health. Her dissertation work was in disaster management among Indigenous Elders, and she is excited to be working with the Memory Keepers Medical Discovery Team and Alaska Native Successful Aging Team. Dr. Thompson’s research interests include disaster management, dementia caregiving, and designing and implementing culturally-adapted interventions.
