Martha Williams nindizhinikaaz (my name is). Makowaadiziikwe nindigoo ojibwemong (My Ojibway name loosely translated in English is: Woman with the Strength of a Bear, my Heart/Soul/Spirit is Strong like the Mother Bear). Makwa nindoodem (My clan is Bear).
I am an enrolled member of the White Earth Tribal Nation.
I have lived and worked on the reservation for most of my life. I have degrees in Human Services/Business Management (BSHSBM) and in Marriage and Family Therapy (MS MFT).
My passion is development of our communities and addressing the needs of our community members. Addressing the many health disparities is imperative to the success of better living for the members of the tribal living. Giving back to our people has always been my life’s goal.
